About Wisdom From North

Wisdom From North (WFN) is a Nordic platform for spiritual knowledge and personal development which consists of Jannecke Øinæs (Host and Creator) and Ragnhild Hannoschøck Vea (Designer and Co-creator).

Our mission is to support and empower you in your spiritual awakening and guide you towards a life filled with purpose, authenticity, and meaning. Through interviews with the best thought leaders of today, WFN aims to activate your inner power by bridging new science and ancient spiritual wisdom.

It all began with Jannecke Øinæs, a former musical theatre artist driven by a profound quest to unravel life’s mysteries and discover its purpose. In 2012, fueled by this passion, she took a significant leap, investing in a camera and embarking on a global journey. Her mission: to engage in insightful conversations with renowned writers, teachers, coaches, and speakers, probing the profound questions of existence.

In 2018, Jannecke joined forces with web designer Ragnhild Hannoschøck Vea to establish Wisdom From North as a company. They introduced initiatives like the Wisdom From North Membership and comprehensive online programs, extending the reach of their mission to inspire and enlighten seekers worldwide.

About the Artist

Lanon is a spiritual seeker and creative muse with a background in performing arts and ethical embodiment practices. He has been painting LightCatchers since 2019 when he started receiving noetic insights in the form of vivid colours and dynamic patterns. Through a daily contemplative practice of sculpting light using a digital stylus and drawing tablet, he began translating these intuitive impressions into artworks with the intention of offering them as sources of contemplation, inner guidance and healing.

As a multifaceted artist, Lanon has always been inspired to find pathways for the authentic expression of personal and collective truths through multidisciplinary means. His experience with performing arts, shamanism, existential musing, and a diversity of spiritual practices inform his current creative expression through LightCatchers.

The full collection of Lanon’s artworks, the LightCatcher Chronicles, has been vested in iNous for use in Wisdom Decks, Novelties of Nous and the SoulSong Journey.

LightCatchers are brought into being through an intuitive process of creation without reference to predetermined themes or preconceived imagery. Each serves as a channeled message, embodying and transferring the qualia of light-energy through what we recognize as colour, shape and form, and which our subtle energy fields respond to as feeling and deep knowing.
