About the founder

Samantha founded iNous as an independent institute in 2021 to share the timeless wisdom of Artistic Minds.

As an artistic researcher and content curator, Samantha is passionate about exploring, documenting and creatively arranging statements of wisdom that demonstrate how to Live Life Artistically.

In 2018, after spending 20 years immersed in formal education and academia, she decided to pursue a more intuitive and autonomous lifestyle. In looking to explore more organic ways of aligning work and family life, she ventured into the world of freelancing and independent content creation. Stepping away from the material comforts and support structures of a salaried, suburban lifestyle has proven to be both exhilirating and challenging. Samantha is grateful to have shared this adventure with her life partner Lanon Prigge (resident iNous artist and muse), and their homeschooled child.

“Is it possible to teach Art? Teachers and educators may teach individuals about art – about existing techniques, tried-and-tested methods, historical figures, and significant movements. But no-one can ever teach artistry. Artistry belongs to the individual – it is an innate and infinite process of improvisation, discovery, passion and intention which is unique to each human soul.

iNous is dedicated to sharing the timeless wisdom of Artistic Minds through informative resources, inspired processes, and collaborative projects and products.
